Videos with black border on MediaPlayer
« on: December 12, 2016, 01:19:07 AM »
Hi, I am getting black border on all the videos playback with MediaPlayer. All other apps and video player like YouTube is able to display at 100% full screen with no black border. Issue found on MediaPlayer only. Note - MediaPlayer app itself is able to display at 100% too. Just videos cannot.

Any idea how to solve it? Thanks.  :)

Update - I managed to narrow down the issue. The black border only happen when playback video from my DLNA media server. Local videos in SD card, USB HDD and internal HDD are working perfect.

Looks like a himediaplayer DLNA bug. A workaround would be to use Kodi internal player for DLNA.

Info has been passed to HiMedia so they can fix it properly.
