Can't setup a Movies subfolder on android 7
« on: December 04, 2016, 10:16:53 AM »
Hi,
I have just updated to android 7 on my q10 pro and I have noticed that in kodi there is no movies or tv shows subfolders anymore.  I also don't have thumbnail pictures of the movies or tv shows when I go into the normal videos files.

Is there a way to set this up?  I checked through the settings and the HIDE movies and tv shows buttons are greyed out and i cant get them to select.

When i use to add folders to the videos it would give me an option to set whether the folder was movies or tv shows.

It's because you need to rescan your Kodi library. Updating the Q10 Pro deleted the Kodi library.

So go through Videos - Files - Add videos to add everything back.

This situation can be avoided by backing up Kodi before doing the upgrade. http://kodi.wiki/view/add-on:backup

Hello!

Will the Backup Add-On save the SMB Network Sharid Folders Shortcuts as well?

Thanks!
