Wrapper with 2.0 on Q5 Pro
« on: November 26, 2016, 09:08:00 PM »
Hi all - I installed the version 2.0 and everything was AOK. However, I have noticed something that may be different from before with 1.08. I have 5 NAS units connected to my Q5 and I use smb as the method of connection to the Q5. One of my NAS has DTS-X and ATMOS movies and when I want to play one of them I can select wrapper and the movie plays fine. However, on my other NAS units when I try to play a movie with wrapper it does not work. DVD player works fine. Wrapper has been set up correctly.

Anyone have any idea why wrapper does not work on some of my NAS?

I had some issues with nfs sharing from my synology NAS; 4 shares, all with the same settings (I had to ssh to it and change some stuff manually) but I was only able to connect to 2 of them.  I solved adding "everyone" acces to those two in general permision settings (not nfs settings) witch is absurd but it worked.
I did all this on 1.8 firmware, but I think it was a NAS software issue not a problem with the q10.
