This is not true concerning Xbox and Shield. There are no problems.
I have tested  Xbox One S, Himedia Q10Pro, and nVidia Shild on my Hisense 58K700 TV with the latest firmware (with HDR support) and there is a problem only with 10 bit modes in the 4k resolutions on Himedia.

There appear to be many problems if you read through that forum thread.

Will a new firmware TV solve the problem you think ?

We've not had this problem reported through the Android 7 beta testing group so fingers crossed for the new firmware (download will be on this forum before end Wednesday).

There is a lot of info in this forum thread about HiSense 65xt910 (I presume you have installed the most recent TV firmware - approx September 2016?) Other people are having problems with 4K Shield / Xbox etc.

But now, if I have 10 bit video and HDR, I have to switch manually every time ? too bad ...
You can change mode Q10Pro output to 10bit in the Game/PC mode on the TV but it will work only till the next reboot.

Can you explain little bit about this 10bit in game/PC Mode...thanks!

I say that HDR reboot problems are being investigated. I've been repeatedly telling HiMedia to get on top of HDR and colorspace setup. The situation is generally OK for most people but some TVs are still a problem. HiMedia say it's improved in new firmware and they'll continue to work on it.

I don't get that DHCP bug here.  All is normal.

So the problem is not the TV ? ok ...

I'm not saying that. In your case it might be. The reports in this thread appear to relate to LG TVs specifically.

There appear to be several HDR / colorspace type problems which may or may not be related to specific TV brands. They may be a bug in HiMedia firmware or they may be a bug in TV firmware. I want HiMedia to test the firmware better against many combinations of TVs and settings.

HDR at the moment is a tricky thing to get right. If you visit Shield, Xbox, and all HDR TV brand forums you'll find confusion reigns over what works and how to get it working.
