With HMP stuttering is less evident with 25fps but there's judder also with 23,976fps. With video in HD/FHD no problem. Yesterday I watched American Horror Story 6x02 WebRip quality and fortunately I don't noticed any stuttering. An ironic example is with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 connected through HDMI adapter. It can play all files without stuttering or judder.

But you are using a 720p max TV, yes?

This is not typical. On a TV that supports 1080p 24Hz there is no stuttering.

My tv is HD Ready but support 1080p 24hz. I should set output to 1080p and enable 24p mode?

Maybe I wasn't clear enough before. I sum up the situation:

Linuxx wrote:
Video signals supported by the HDMI: 480p, 567p, 720p, 1080i/p @ 24 / 30 / 50 / 60 Hz
I just trim this down to be clear enough: Video signals supported by the HDMI: 1080p @ 60 Hz on his TV.
This means he should configure 1080P 60Hz at Setting\Display and 16:9 and 24Hz On at Setting\Playback.

Furthermore he should install the auto framerate addon as looun already wrote. I don't have the addon installed because I don't use Kodi's dvdplayer so I have no clue how he should configure it. He asked that already a few post before and it wasn't answered yet.

New TV will come soon. I just was thinking to buy it for a few time. But as I wrote in previous post, himedia should correct the problem because framerate switch must be based on fps and not on HZ or tv resolution. With another players I always played video at 23,976 without stuttering.

Auto Frame rate switching is based on source fps in Hi Player in generally, but in your case with 720p TV and the will of 23.976fps, this pairing isn't supported (as the Admin wrote). But I agree in some level, that this should be an expected featrure, regardless if it's labeled -also- as a "4K media player", since it is still a Media Player, that should have this feature in it's basics...

Wow, I never heard that a TV can support 1080p signal but the panel only displays 720p. One can always learn.

Yeah! This is what I want mean. Just a cit from my previous post: "With a PC, PS3, MacBook Pro and simple dvd player connected to the TV with hdmi I don't get any stuttering with all type of format with various fps. Also with my old WD TV Player that I selled to buy Q10 Pro.".

Anyway on every sites you can read that my TV support 24p real cinema.

Isn't that the same point you've been making throughout the thread?

I refer you back to my previous answers.

I understood what you mean ., but I repeat that I think himedia must change function based on HZ of TV. I don't say only for me but also for people that wants to buy Q10 Pro having a simple HD TV. It's like saying that you can't play with PS4 or XBOX because your TV doesn't suppor it. I find ridiculous that a player of 40 Eur can reproduce perfect a video and a player of 180 Eur not. As Mount81's wrote: "But I agree in some level, that this should be an expected featrure, regardless if it's labeled -also- as a "4K media player", since it is still a Media Player, that should have this feature in it's basics." Anyway next two weeks I'll go at my parents home and I'll test the box on their tv full hd that is more recent instead of mine.

. as I said you were wrong on my tv and support. Eriol was right. After various tests I set output box at 1080p and activated autoframe switch in kodi and now it works. Stuttering with 23,976 seems totally missed. I tried with series Game of Thrones in SD quality that I remember a lot of stutter and now zero problem. With video at 25fps there's only a few micro-stuttering than before. But I noticed that is not very smooth with 25fps. Anyway I need others test to say that it works at 100%. So I'm sorry to complain again but Himedia must fix absolutely these point and also judder with himedia app. Q10 Pro is on commerce from more than 6 months and this is unacceptable.

Ok I can confirm. Autoframe switch works like a charm in kodi at 1080p but always microstuttering with files at 25fps. So it's not a tv problem!
