Kodi himediawrapper Samba ISO feedback needed

Following on from another thread where a possible bug has been identifed, we need feedback on the following problem.

When using Kodi 14.2 or 15.0 together with himediawrapper are people able to play ISO / 3D ISO files over a Samba network without problem?

Our experience is that either there is no playback or himediawrapper crashes.

This behaviour is the same across 1.0.7 and 1.0.8 firmwares.

Local ISOs play normally, as do Samba network files of all other sorts. 2D ISOs can be played in Kodi from any source using the Kodi player. All ISOs and 3D ISOs can be played in the HiMedia mediaplayer Android app with no problem.

The problem appears to be specific to ISOs from a Samba network source using himediawrapper in Kodi 14.2 and 15.

We will use the feedback to help HiMedia fix the bug if it does exist.

Some notices about the new firmware and Himediawrapper with Samba network.

Try Iso and make feedback.

- Connection with SMB share and in guest(without user and password) or with admin user and password.
For me with Kodi 14.2 and HimediaWrapper same problem, not work as well, only in Hard Disk in the Himedia works fine.

- Even if we make choice by IP Address like 192.XXX.XXX.XXX\share folder with and without user and password, not work very well but:

One thing. After sharing and have your library movie\Tv... you can have the Himediawrapper working fine if you make this way.

- Just go to Home menu and use the LAN way to open first one of your movie in the network line. You can notice that the movie works fine without problem with Himediawrapper even if you put an admin user and password way and make choice to keep like this.

- After this operation you can open again the Kodi software and try to open the SMB sharing by playing a movie and whatever you want, bingo you can see the Himediawrapper working fine.

I try many tests and even if you use the Himediawrapper with an guest account without user and password and also an admin account with user and password, same way doesn't work correctly.

So Admin, Futeko team can you please fix that way and include in the next firmware this bug. The best way is of course to play all movies with Himediawrapper to have the best audio HD, DTS-MA and TrueHD sound. It will be very very nice way for all of us.

The wrapper does not play any file now.  When you play any file now a notification show ups "Press OK after playback has finished".

First thing I'd try is to reinstall the wrapper.

Then reinstall Kodi.

If you've installed multiple version of kodi and wrapper then final suggestion would be to reinstall firmware (perhaps the CS custom) and start from scratch.
