@DenisDA: there is no way that "Android does not see it". It should have all the needed drivers. If it does not get an IP, check your router. If you suspect it is broken, send it to be repaired. You were adding the kernel module, but Android 7 uses a different kernel. Again, in my opinion, this is waaay to complicated and you should try to get the built-in LAN to work.

If Android 7 has a different kernel, why is the kernel version the same as 5.1-3.18.24? I asked me to pick up the driver for the USB LAN that's been done. Add the two files in the folder /system/lib/modules and run the init script drivers at the start helped me to use USB LAN.
