date/time not setting over inet
« on: April 29, 2015, 07:50:02 AM »
Hi. Every time I boot pcg03 I have to set date and time again ?

I've ticked the set to Internet windows time but it doesn't refresh ?

Is there any win 8.1 setting I'm missing coming from win7 ?

Has your PCG03 always done this?

It's not something I've heard happen before. In Windows 8.1 the time settings are under Settings - Time and Language. The top option is 'Set time automatically'. Whether set to on or off the PCG03 should keep time pretty well, the difference being that when set to on the time will be updated to internet time on each boot.

If you turn this setting off does the PCG03 keep time?

And, if you enter BIOS settings (by pressing DEL repeatedly after you turn the box on) what do the bottom two entries on the homescreen (System Date, System Time) say?

Hi.  On your advise I changed the time/date in bios to correct time/date..

Changing it in windows only didn't work.

Nice guide to setting up Time resync service here:-

You can set it to activate the service On power up rather than specific time.
