SPDIF Audio Delay
« on: September 17, 2016, 03:07:50 PM »
I am interested in buying a Q10 and would like to know if anyone uses the HDMI for video and SPDIF optical through an av amp for audio, primarly for 1080p hevc x265 files with a variety of dolby digital audio 5.1, dts, dts ex outputs and if any audio delays are noticeable.

  Thanksfor any replies

I use the Q10 with a Marantz amp connected via an optical SPDIF cable. There are absolutely no audio delays for all compatible audio formats being played. Have checked HEVC as well as MKV and other formats.

SPDIF optical as well, no delay detected so far with 720p-1080p x264 with DD, DTS,  DTS ES, DTS-HD. x265 test was done with DTS.
