Where are the files located?

Kodi + wrapper works for local files, Samba shares without password, and Samba shares with password (need to run wrapper app and input Samba details).

To get it to work with NFS shares see here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=813.0

From the home screen (screen you get when box boots up), go My Apps - 'Wrapper'.

When I got my box I did a factory reset as it was second user. It came with 1.07 firmware. Although the wrapper menu option was still available when I started playing a video it wouldn't actually play using it, only using the Kodi DVD player. I reloaded a fresh copy of the wrapper to Android and ran it and it then worked, so you might want to try that.

I have aslo experienced some similar Wrapper related issues:

When exiting KOID with the "Menu" button (and not with the "Exit" option) and changing the Wrapper settings and re-entering KODI the change made with Wrapper doesn't have effect. It happed with me like 2 times, and it's really dull, while quitting KODI (or just lets say: minimize) with the "Menu" button way is a much more practical and casual way to navigate confortably (specially with the stock remote, whit which you're unable to select "Exit" on the bottom of KODI's GUI, unless you push "Back" button a several times, till it gets beack to the main KODI menu.)

The only solution to this, is run the "Cleaner" on the main Android screen, which will reset KODI, but it isn't a very viable way at all.

But even independently from the issue above, it would be great if it would be solved on the default remote, to be able to choose the proper "Exit" function in KODI, even when we're deep in it's file browser, etc. menus struckture...

Kodi can't be running (not even in the background) when you make changes to wrapper settings. Why do you need to change wrapper settings regularly? I would have expect these settings to be set once and then rarely returned to?

I agree that it would be better to be able to exit Kodi more easily using remote. The problem is that Kodi Android doesn't have a way of mapping 'exit Kodi' to a remote key and the 'exit' option is only on the Kodi home screen.

In my case this problem occured while tried IPTV channels playback under KODI. So before I enter KODI, I must decide and ensure what kind of media contetnt would I like to play: videos from local drives, or IPTV (internet)->with a must have decision that affect my whole "KODI session" till the next reboot. Cause if I want to keep the "state" of how deep and exacly where I have been previously in some of the KODI's menus after quitting and then reopening (even after or w/o reboot) KODI, I must eighter press the "Home" button on the remote or quit the proper way by selecting the "Exit" icon in KODI.  If I choose the "Home" button way, I must eighter to "Clear" the memory or completly reboot if I wan't to change the Wrapper settings again. If I choose to use the "Exit" icon method, than I have to navigate and push "Back" KOID to all the way to it's main screen to be able to select it with this remote. In which case -obviously- KODI would start again with on it's Main Screen, and noth where I lwould like it to be "left", fe. In my Videos->Movies Folder. And thats a bit of uncomfortability, specially in the case of KODI, which functions and shaping is mostly -and famously- with the purpose of comfort and easy navigation.

Quote
the 'exit' option is only on the Kodi home screen.
-> It's reachable like normally on any of it's navigation/browisng screens with a pointer fuction peripherial, like air-mouse or touch pad, with only one simple click over it. But I understand that this stock IR remote can't be mapped inside KODI,  so will buy myself a proper air-mouse to resolve soon.

And thanks for the reply!

Cant you muse KODI with Wrapper and XBMC in parallel? Use KODI for local video's and XBMC for IPTV.

Do this myself with a Zidoo box with in fact ZDMC, XBMC and KODI all installed concurrently for different (conflictive) deployments.

Install Add-on:Keymap Editor for editing Exit(quit) key from Kodi work with stock IR remote.
http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Keymap_Editor
Go to: Programs Add-on/Keymap_Editor/Edit/Global/System/Quit XMBC
Set wanted key(example 5), --> be carefully not to set by mistake OK key. In case if this happen delete gen.xml
Code: [Select]
/sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/keymaps/gen.xml
