Minor Bug: KODI freezes on "Exit"

Hello!

I guess the title tells everything. It doesn't happen all the time, but frequently enough to be a bit embarassing. It didn't happen with the 1.0.5 firmware thou -as far as I remember-. Ok, just for the clarification: when I try to "Exit" KODI with the GUI method and navigate all the way back to the KODI main screen and select the "Exit" icon, it asks for confirmation, but after I press OK on the remote on the "Exit" command, it just freezes, and stops responding to any buttons. However, I can still go back to the main Android launcher screen, pressing the "Home" button on the remote, and after relaunching KODI everything seems working again.

 I have the preinstalled Jarvis KODI and installed and used just the Simple IPTV add-on for a plus, and just changed a bunch of the KODI's deafult sound and music settings to fit my expectations and preferences (as in default settings it produces a very unsetisfying Music Playback Quality, with my Active Stereo Speakers plugged into the Q10 Pro's analoge outputs -but that just for the sake of listening music, and it's a different story-.) No other add-ons installed or changes were made at all.

I have the 1.0.7 firmware on and installed it with the recommended "Upgrade" button way.

I have also read another fresh post in the forum, complaining at this same problem.
Any others have experienced this issue? And have a clue what causes it, and how to resolve?

It may seam a light gravity problem, but I guess It just shouldn't have to work this way normally and that leaves me a bit uncertain and worried.

I had also faced the same problem. It is erratic and not everytime and at random.

The screen freezes upon exit of kodi.

It would be good if this could be consistently replicated.

If I report it to HiMedia as a bug the first thing they will come back at me with is 'how do we replicate it'.

I'm not having that problem, and i use KODI a lot.
Could be an issue related to a skin or addon.

It's an occasional Kodi issue w/Android in general. Also happens sometimes on my nVidia Shield, WeTek Hub, etc.

Maybe true from one side, but it happens too often in my case, to fit in this category (at least that's what I think). Also strange that some have this problem with this device and others absulutely don't.  And that it happens for someones more often and for others just very rarely. (It would be good to have at least an insight to what causes the problem with KODI vs Android regarding this case in general, to get a clue how to minimize the bug occurrence possibility.) And I have this post up now while a couple of days, and if it would be a more frequently -and commonly- experienced problem by Q10/Q5 Pro users, than many others would have reacted to this topic. That's why I draw conclusions to that some other things may cause it as well.

I suspect frequency of this problem is related to which add-ons you have installed in Kodi.

I experience same problem. It was present on Himedia Q5 quad too.

me too have this problem.
My system is:
- Q5 Pro 1.0.7, without any add on (Kodi or not) installed.

Many times, i long press return button on remote, "Exit" appears, click "ok" on remote => Kodi Freeze.
I must press Home button and clean memory.

With 1.0.5 no problem.
