kodi internal player ?

Hi from Turkey,
i bought himedia q10 from you in last week..it arrived yesterday..thank you for fast shipping..

i am also using xbmc on my nas and my computer..

it was pre-loaded gotham 13.2..i tried to watch my dts-hd ma and dolby true hd films, it didnt passtrough..
if i load your himediawrapper.apk ,problem is solving and it plays all formats.
But xbmc internal player doesnt work and i cant download subttitles when i am watching tv shows or films and online  films..i want to use it together..

1-)xbmc (13.2-14-15 )---xbmc internal player working--subtitle downloading online ok--no dolby true hd and no dts-hd ma
2-)xbmc(all)+himediawrapper.apk--dolby true hd and dts-hd ma ok--NO SUBTITLE DOWLOAD..because it is using own decoder.

i have to put srt.subtitle same character in same directory if i watch from usb or nas..(i have 8tb film on nas)
but it was too diffucult when i decided to watch online film on internet.

do you have any idea or solution?
how can we choose player when i started films on Xbmc?

you always can choose player with menu button, select "play using" and then choose himedia wrapper or dvdplayer.
you use also mvideoplayer app,it's can subtitle downloading and external player himediaplayer, but work only with local file not net share.

i am using bs player to dowload subtitles..

i want to use xbmc with dolby true and dts-hd ma codec musics.
because i am listening dts-hd music but it doesnt work without himediawrapper apk..
if load apk..xbmc own player is not working..

is there a solution?
when xbmc supports dts-hd musics or films with own player on Himedia q10?
and
(1.08 chinese firmware is launched.what is differences)

Looun's reply should work for video. You would have to choose between himediaplayer for 7.1 audio and kodi player for add-ons requiring the internal player.

To choose player:

Press menu button (on remote or middle mouse button) when video is selected and choose 'Play Using..':



Choose between HiMedia player (HiMediaXBMCWrapper) and the kodi player (dvdplayer):



I couldn't find any DTS-HD MA music files to test with but it should work the same. If you have a file for us to test I'm happy to test it.

There are not android box(RK, amlogic, RLT ecc) where audio HD work with internal player of kodi (dvd player).
If you want kodi(dvdplayer) + audio hd you must buy htpc x86.

Q5/Q10 is the only box where audio hd work very well with internal app.

For clarity, on a Q5, Q10 or M3 in Kodi:

5.1 Channel DTS passthrough/bitstream - Kodi internal player or HiMediawrapper.
5.1 Channel Dolby Digital AC3 passthrough/bitstream -  Kodi internal player or HiMediawrapper.

7.1 Channel DTS-HD MA passthrough/bitstream - HiMediawrapper.
7.1 Channel Dolby TrueHD (including TrueHD ATMOS) passthrough/bitstream- HiMediawrapper.

You can choose to use the Kodi internal player from within Kodi after you've installed Himediawrapper using the 'play using' option as shown above.

Of you want the Kodi player to be default (as you might for some add-ons) then this cannot be done once Himediawrapper has been installed. The workaround solution is to install both Kodi and SPMC (from here is up-to-date not Play Store version: http://spmc.semperpax.com/). So install first the HiMediawrapper so that works on then Kodi install and then SPMC.

That gives you Kodi with choice of player and SPMC with Kodi player. SPMC has a few small modifications that make it better for Android boxes, otherwise it's stock Kodi.

If you're playing media from within Kodi using Himediawrapper then the settings that matter are the Android settings. So Settings - More - Sound: HDMI Output: RAW, SPDIF Output: Close (for HDMI audio), HBR Degrade Output: RAW 7.1.

For the Kodi internal player, the 5.1 channel audio settings should be like this. System - Settings - System, Settings level set to Advanced:



Key settings are 5.1 channel speakers and DTS / AC3 passthrough.
