Resume
« on: August 27, 2016, 02:11:05 PM »
I am using Kodi with Emby server. Whenever I play a video using the wrapper my position in the video is not saved so I cannot resume.  Is there a way to remedy this or to get audio passthrough without the wrapper?

Resume works with Samba/NFS/local.

A Samba network is better than DLNA (Emby is a DLNA server?) for local network streaming.

The files are being accessed from a Samba share. I am using Kodi with the Emby app and this allows for tracking status and resumption in other setups.

I have no experience of the Ember app, but from a standard share (Samba/NFS) you would definitely get resume.

Mark as watched doesn't work with external players in Kodi but you can manually mark items as watched by pressing remote menu key.
