H8 not powering off using remote, no signal to TV

I purchased a Himedia H8 from xxxxxxxxxxx a month ago. It worked fine until today when it froze watching kodi. I did a hard reset but it looks like the box is always on even when I use the remote to switch off.  There is no signal to my TV. Checked all wires, network...all fine.
Any idea or suggestion what to do?

Try doing a firmware reinstall using the button on the back. Download and instructions here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=962.0

If that doesn't work then you'll need to contact the retailer you bought it off for RMA.
