Difficult to tell the difference between Chinese and European/international hardware. They are externally identical.

In Settings - About - Device info what is your firmware build number? Check it against the numbers here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=711.0 If you have a European/international firmware installed then the hardware is European/international.

Presuming you do have the European/international version I suggest reinstalling firmware using the upgrade button method. This will wipe the box and start from scratch, I think there's a good chance it will fix your problem. Latest (as of August 2016) 1.0.7 FW: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1130.0

NTFS is definitely not read only on Q10 Pro. It's full read/write. If NTFS was read only it would have been mentioned a million times by now on this forum, it hasn't
I use my LAN network to transfer movies onto the internal HDD (NTFS formatted 4Tb) and also an external USB drive plugged in a side port.
Q10 Pro must be able to write to HDD or the movies would not copy.
Suggest you delete the partition and re-format the drive you are having issues with?
