This is a preview release of the new version of the himediaplayer app (the app used to play video in Android and Kodi+wrapper).

Version: 1.0.6_HMD_0810_Release

It will be included in next firmware, but for those who can't wait..

To install it just download and run from File Manager, Media Center, or any other file browser app. It will replace existing himediaplayer app.

Changelog:

1. Online subtitle download.
2. Subtitles change color gray light gray.
3. Local video playback display fps information.
4. Set the default subtitles font stroke effect.

This is only an update to the himedia video player app.

I have no news about screensaver but the front LCD playback time feature will be in next firmware.

There are still lots of issues with DVD iso's, i hope that gets solved in the future.

THIS IS AN UPDATE TO HIMEDIAPLAYER ONLY.

IT'S NOT A FIRMWARE UPDATE.

THE NEXT FIRMWARE UPDATE WILL HAVE FIXED FRAME RATE MATCH OUTPUT HZ.

DVD ISO improvements will also have to wait for a firmware update.

There are 3 major issues with DVD playback, which make using the Q10 Pro a bad user experience:

I've tested ~ 30 DVD ISOs with various audio tracks/languages:
It seems that in general, englisch (EN) and spanisch (ES) audio tracks get mixed up.

Subtitles are always on, HiMediaVideoPlayer does not save changes in subtitle settings.

There is no possibility to access the DVD menu.
