Replacing Q10 Pro Cooling Fan

Okay, I'm wondering if anyone here has already replaced a problematic cooling fan in their Q10 Pro. I've got the correct replacement & see 4 Phillips screws on back holding it in place, but to install a new one do I need to open the lid of the box & remove some internal trim pieces, or can this be done from the box exterior?  TIA

It's been a few months, but I had the issue that the fan made some noise, so I took the Q10 Pro apart.
As far as I remember the fan can be easily replaced, I also ordered a replacement unit off of eBay that fits.
But in my case, it was enough to clean the fan with a spray duster and oiled the middle  with a tiny bit of machine oil (from my razor) using a q-tip.

You need to open up the box to remove the fan, but it's not difficult.

Mine has started making a somewhat awful noise for the first 30s or so on power up and the unit is only around 6 months old. Rather than sending the unit back at insane cost, does Futeko have any suggestions for initial maintenance/troubleshooting?

With Q10 Pro off, put a vacuum cleaner hose to the fan outlet and see if it sucks dust/debris off the fan.

Otherwise, the instructions I linked to earlier in this thread show how to disassemble the Q10 Pro and replace the fan. The fan part is standard sized and replacements can be purchased inexpensively.

Can Futeko please post an image of the fan connector? Obtaining the right fan is somewhat complicated by the options of three wire or two wire (I appreciate the advice so far is two wire), but the 2 v 3 wire conundrum affects which connector we get supplied. A pure two wire? A three wire with a vacant pin?

So, whilst pulling the Q10 apart would immediately solve the query, could I please ask for just a little more guidance so I can order a fan and have it arrive all ready for a quick and dirty swap?

Fan replaced. Simple job. Most taxing part of it was removing the existing fan's plastic power plug from the wires of the stock fan and putting it on to the new fan's wires (slightly different dimension plug on the new fan so swap was needed). Nonetheless, fan works fine and silence has returned.

OK, cheap replacement fan failed. Multiple items.

I installed the Sunon MC35101V2-0000-A99 suggested by Futeko and the volume is ridiculous. The stock Hondaly DFS351012L is a 3.5cfm 5000rpm fan. The Sunon is 6.5cfm 7500rpm.

Looking around, the Hondaly is one of the lowest rpm and airflow units one can obtain.

So, can anyone point me to where I can obtain the Hondaly units economically? Most online information is for OEM purchases of, say, 1000 units. Happy to buy half a dozen but 1,000 is out of the question. (Happy to buy some remaining OEM Hondaly stock from Futeko  ......)

Gave up trying to find a quiet 12V 35x35x10 fan.

So, went and found a suitable 24V 35x35x10 fan from eBay.

All working fine. Seems happy @ 12V. Silent. Low cfm.
