So, as it seams that the next firmware development is heading very slowly (if at all), i would like to make a short reminder including all the necessary actual bugs present even on the latest FW 2.0.6. I have done a listing in a previous post, but it seams it needs to be pushed harder to get the rightful acknowledge. (And a little reminder is always useful.)
1.
Most important: fix the audio slip while sound is played through the analogue RCA outputs. Very, very annoying. Can't believe that HiMedia has "managed" somehow to mess this up with the most recent update, while it was perfect in all of the previous Android 5.1 firmwares. The most hunky-dory of the bugs ever. Description here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=2628.msg21288#msg212882. The video "seeking" function (with the remotes <- -> keys) in HiMedia Player is also messed up entirely since the latest firmwares. It entirely uncontrollable, unpredictable and thus unusable. Fix it and -if not else and better- bring back just how it was functioning in the 1.0.9 firmware and previously. Also wonder why they teased it at all in the first place. Is here anyone who likes it how it works now? -> I doubt so...
3. Fix -at last- the wallpaper zoom bug. No I don't want to use a third party up, just to patch up a so basic feature (and as it also works imperfectly).
4. Fix that it almost always resets the Aspect ratio setting back to "Original Ratio" after a new boot.
5. Don't mess up anything else in the new firmware, that was working well in the previous ones. That's my fundamental piece of advice for all times. (Looks like that HiMedia just needs to be remembered it somehow).
There may be others I've not covered yet, as these are juts the ones I've concerned with and find important during casual use.
So this is all to HiMedia, hopefully transmitted by Futeko. Please keep on pushing and repeating these requests, as I don't want to get annoyed and let down by the next firmware just again... And at last: please give us a feedback when we can count on the new firmware. It has been a long time since the last one, and it's far from prefect jet, so it's very expected and mandatory.
Thank you!
