1. Choose 2160p/60 if your display supports it, otherwise 2160p/30
2, Enable this
3. Play any video using native player, press 'Menu' and disable Imprex engine if you want
4. CEC is a known issue, already on private (sorry) bug tracker list for HiMedia
For #3, Imprex is one of the key draws for Q10 Pro. Suggest leaving it enabled, but play w/options for right level of processing w/o unwanted artifacts.
Thanks for the quick reply!
1. For learning, what if I choose a different resolution (e.g. 1080p/60) than my TV's native resolution (aka. 4k/60p)?
2. Sorry, I tried but "custom display format" and "HDMI auto adaptation" are mutually exclusive settings. Once I choose a custom display, the HDMI auto adaptation is automatically unticked. My understanding is one is automatic selection of display format, and the other is mannually select it. Is this correct?
3. So, Imprex engine among other things will upscale resolution and interpolate frames before exporting the video signal to the receiver/TV?
Btw, are these settings global settings which apply to all video playback applcations on the device (including user-installed app such as Mx Player...)?
