ZIDOO 8K FIRMWARE UPDATE 1.3.30 [04-SEP-2026]

Zidoo have issued a firmware update for their 8K series of players: UHD8000, Z3000 Pro, Z30 Pro and Z9X 8K. Version 1.3.30.

New features include:

- Completely re-written Blu-Ray menu navigation engine so more (and most) original BD menus will display correctly.
- HDR metadata injection.
- Firmware rollback.
- HDR10+ priority mode.
- MCH PCM audio mapping corrected and optimised.
- A massive number of bug fixes and small improvements.

The update is being rolled out OTA (over the air) so 8K players will automatically receive an on-screen notification prompting to update. You will need 'Beta Version' enabled in the update app (all Zidoo firmwares are released as 'beta', they are thoroughly tested and would be called final & stable for other products).
