3. Subtitle Time adjustment scale extended to +5, -5 minutes. ->(Mostly anticipated!)

3. Definitely improved in next firmware. Up to +/- 10 seconds. Do you mean 5 minutes? Or seconds?

3. Yes I meant also 5 minutes. However, 10 sec is also better than the current, but might worth go with the bigger scale already in the first run.

Thanks!

This strange request 5 minutes --> 6000 steps of 100ms witch is not practical or is wrong understanding your request.
For fixing out of sync subtitles with huge problems is better to search for other version or use dedicate software  on PC  like: Subtitle Workshop.

10 seconds in 1.0.6 beta2 HiMediaVideoPlayer is already 200 steps

I can understand your argument, but maybe it could be practically delivered with 3 kind of seperate milli/sec/minute sliders, like this 3 beneath one another, don't you think? So there won't be a need to radically extend the step scale for the millisec slider.

Nice Monkey, Mount81
Always time is money, programing, debugging and bug fix after public release is cost, usage and benefit is too small on my opinions.
10 seconds can understand for TV Show can be usefuly. But how many times did you rely need minutes?
All Country have few dedicate subtitles portal from where can download sync version or better subtitle.
Will spend more time to control and get acceptable value for sync that duration of movie/clip itsef.
IR Control/Mouse mode are not convenabile for this.

PS Nice Monkey general internal subtitle must be in sync, if this not happen are video bad encoding/rip or player bug/problem.

Thanks pcristi points taken.  :)
Specifically using the remote supplied is a handicap I overlooked (frankly use the pointer mouse myself for these type of  things mostly).

Will see how easy it is to have multiple sources for external subtitles. If it looks at several places in parallel then adding country/regional sources does indeed help.
As this is on the way already, we will know soon if it is valid alternative

A little expansion to my request list:

8. A screensaver / dimmer for both the Android screen and the Himedia Player, with adjustable timer.

I guess many of the users here have already requested for this one way or another, but the more swallows,  the more the chance for the spring...

With my Dune and Zidoo i can delete files after watching.

Go to the media select panel and choose "All" next open the filebrowser and select the file you would like to delete. Now press the MENU button.
A window will show up with a Delete option. Confirm a few times and it is gone.

I don't get,if i start de native mediaplayer i go to my NFS share and select the files on my Synology nas.

If  i select a file and open menu i only see the option to sort files by name, time etc.

Futeko admin, here you go 2 new features request for future firmwares:

- When playing a file, the option to switch between clock and current playback time on the front LED display. Also ability to dim the front display and, if not possible, to turn it off entirely for a comfortable watching (without distractions).

- Due to poor quality of Q5/Q10 Pro in upscaling (see this thread), ability to select in HiMedia player among several interpolation algorithms for video scaling (Lanczos, Nearest Neighbour, Bilinear, Bicubic...) There is no a 'perfect scaling method', so the user will pick the closest to its taste. Kodi's player (dvdplayer) already has this option built-in.

Thanks

Bring back the notification icons on top of the screen or at least make its display user definable (ON/OFF) as we see fit.

Many ask about scraper, gallery, info and Art-work support for Media Center. It was already answered that the goal of Media center is to keep it plain and simple. Programs like KODI are just meant for this and are suggested to be used instead. Motion taken.

A  nice compromise could be a simple interface with IMDB by an option to bring IMDB up with the actual title parsed which is highlighted within the file browser. This way a quick view can be done what the specific title has to offer. Programming it should be very easy.  It all can be managed using the standard remote too. It also avoids cluttering the HDD content and won't impact performance with large to very large media collections.

I will pass this on, but it might be difficult to implement requiring work at the chipset level. Another way around this would be for there to be an option for Q10 Pro to output at source resolution, so 1080p content would output at 1080p when box set to 4K mode (as opposed to present where box upscales it to 4K). This has been requested before but I will request it again.

But hope option will be still available to upscale from 1080p to 2160p for those who prefer to do this?

My request would be to add a discrete ON and discrete OFF IR code.  Right now I believe it is only a power toggle.

My Q10 PRO is an integral part of my home theatre setup and I use a Harmony remote to control it I'm sure like many others.  Because I also use the box to share media and download content I like to leave it on for long periods of time.

With the standard power toggle on the remote turning 'on' an activity can inadvertently power off the device, which is a pain if I am in the middle of a background task.

A piece of stick-it put over the IR-receiver on the front panel will do the trick as a workaround.  ;)
