How do you remove the large Icons on the home page? Pandora I uninstalled (and confirmed), but the Icon is still there.
I inventively clicked on "Gallery" on the applications page, but I can't remove that either. I don't see a way to do so and what I read in that almost useless quick start guide doesn't work, nor did the procedure in the FAQ sticky which seems to be for the top rows.

These are the top, larger two rows, not that duplicated small row at the bottom that removing does work (which I don't know why there are two in the 1st place other to confuse more).  ::)

Two more;

Can the 'skin' be changed with this custom FW (not the Kodi skins). I see no entry to do so.

How do you get rid of that chromecast wallpaper screensaver?

I have read that FAQ more than once, I even printed it out.
What is shown to remove those Icons does not work, except for the lower row. Those default 'boxes' have no check mark.

I and others have tried to help you but there is a limit.

Maybe try asking the nice American reseller who sold you your Q10 Pro?

Write in Q5/Q10 Pro FAQ just try to understand what you read.

GUI
* How to change home screen apps? Navigate to the tile you want to replace on home screen and press menu button on remote. Select an app from the app list and it will replace the selected tile.
So defaults icons can't be removed just possible to be replaced with what you need.

Two answer to yours  post from Kodi forum.

Hoe do you remove those larger boxes even after the application was removed.
Specifically Facebook & Spyke. I un-installed these, but they still show and they still run. You can add off of the applications list, but there isn't a obvious way to remove them, except for ones you add with a checkmark.

Answer written also in Q5/Q10 Pro FAQ

Apps
* Remove system apps? Some apps are designated as system apps and cannot be deleted by normal means (Facebook, Skype, Kodi). If you really want to see them gone, follow this guide: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1653.msg13416#msg13416

Between this discussion is off-topic here please make your own thread where to ask and get answer for your questions.

Hi guys. This is the first time I'm using this custom firmware. The digital passthrough is what brought me over to using custom. Anyway, sorry if this was already asked but is it recommended to use the auto frame rate patches or are they already implemented in this custom firmware?

Thank you pcristi for the work you put into these releases!

I have the same question.

Does anyone know the answer?

No. Auto framerate switching is the same as official firmware (i.e. 50/60 > 23.976/29.970 - see more framerate switching OP for more info).

I've do it.

Q5pro shows your firmware as 2.0.7.

I think we must wait a new release of pccristi's custom firmware.
