Q5/Q10 Pro Custom Firmware

Yeah, I tried using both this firmware and the normal firmware and neither would upgrade from 1.03 using an ex-Fat thumb drive. The original firmware kept getting an error message then would boot normally. I tried the custom and it showed the droid logo, rebooted 2 or 3 times, then booted up fine. It erased all my settings but it was still the 1.03 firmware! Finally I just upgraded OTA and it seems OK.

Pcristi,can i upgrade from CS  1.0.5 to CS 1.0.6 in settings -update-usb and have all my settings back,or it will be lost?

Yes you can do it, Pcristi told me and i already make it by the menu-update-local usb way.

Hello when i made the updtage by the menu update, i don't have any error and everything will be fine from 1.05 to 1.06 CS custom firmware. Only for the custom not the official one.

Followed the procedure which brought FW 1.06 on par with Chinese FW 1.07 as most changes seem to be included: VFD , Subtitles download, timeshift 10 sec etc. Great to see the front display showing something useful.

Oh yes a downloaded subtitle says "Exnternal SRT" still with that extra n !!! Thought it would have been fixed. Not important but it looks a bit silly.
I expect that subtitle download will be enhanced further with multiple sources being user configurable?

Thanks for your work,  very Nice but after remove the old Wrapper and make exactly as you said,  we can use only in the local but not by Kodi way.  Just have the internal dvdplayer.
Anyway i notice also that we can't see the HiMediaVideoPlayer neither in Myapp nor in Setting /Application.  ?
Did i miss something. ....

Your custom firmware is too good with Power Menu/ restart option, and some thoughtful software like "One-touch access" etc.
