What I meant is that in the same router we have created an Access Point in the Q10 and we connect the smartphones to this Access Point. That's it, right?

What appears when I first run Hicintrol on my phones is THE DEVICES LIST and my device TV Box 192.168.1.76.

It is very strange that it connects to the Q10, and we even get sound from it (we tried playing a music file and it plays the sound on the phone, but we still can't get the mirror function.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?

I'm running into the same issue...

It's a known issue, has been reported and discussed many times on these forums but still no fix - which is disappointing as it really spoils the box -  along with the resolution changing unexpectedly issue.

The resolution changing bug has been fixed in Android 5.1.1 FW 1.0.9 and will be fixed in next (soon) Android 7 FW.

HiControl is being worked on. At the moment it works better when Q5/Q10 Pro resolution is 1080p or lower and better with Android 5.1.1 fw than Android 7.

Apologies, didn't realise the resolution bug has been fixed - I'm on Android 7 so haven't got the fix yet.

A working Hicontrol will be very much appreciated :)

New remote app for Android 7: http://www.mediafire.com/file/pdj0dxbdpjf06m9/HandsetForMultiScreen-ANDROID7TEST.apk

Please report back results.

This one seems to work somewhat.
I can launch it and scan for my TV box.
Whenever I want to go into the settings, or start the remote controller, an error message appears.
It says:
Detected problems with app native libraries
(please consult log for detail):
libairmouse_jni.so: text relocations
libmsc.so: text relocations

I can still access the settings and the remote controller though. Only the sensors for the mouse cursor aren't calibrated.
I have to tilt my phone slightly.
Everything else (in the remote controller) works fine :)

Sadly, the mirror controller doesn't work at all. Every time I tap on it, the app crashes.

same for me. my phone is a nexus 5x / android 7.1.1

Sorry but now we are in 2160 P resolution in Q10Pro,  we can't use the Hiconttol V200 or the New one More See.  Works fine before in 1080 p. Wish this mistake resolve soon !  Very useful  Futeko. Thanks

+1 After change my TV with 4k res,  Hicontrol does not work for mirror anymore.
Please fixed this bug , 70%  using q10 pro for playing Hires music with Hiby, which didn't needed TV to turn on. Thanks

Hi Futeko,

Now we are more and more in 4K TV, and think that you know we can't anymore remote control the Q10 by Tablet, smartphone or others. In 1080p everything is Ok but now if the setting is in 2160P, in order to only have a black screen without visuel to use, do you plan to update also this way instead the new firmware we are waiting for. Thanks

Hello Futeko. Yesterday my phone ( ASUS ZENFONE3) received the update to Android Nougat.
My Q10 pro is running on Android 5.1 firmware version 1.08 and the hicontrol app has always worked fine before the update.
Now when I open the hicontrol app and tap on my Q10 IP address I get an error and the app is closed.
Is there any fix to the problem?
Thanks
Regards
Giacomo
