my rasberry pi not work.
my BDP-S5500 - Sony not power on if HDMI q10 pro is pluged.
i must use HDMI cable pin 13 cut http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=166.msg1705#msg1705
it's very boring, we told himedia many times.
Very easy to verify. Use a good sensitive Amp meter and measure the current on pin-13 to earth on the HDMI-bus during power off.
If you tell me what is measured I can confirm you if it has the same problem or not. We are talking extreme low values here.
Please repeat the same test with Q10 Pro unplugged from power but with the HDMI cable still connected. Only if the problem remains when disconnected from power we are talking the same problem.
Ran a few tests myself and this is what I see:
- Q10 Pro
does not block any HDMI-CEC communication when powered-off or in standby.
- Q10 Pro
blocks communication when active (=powered-on) indeed. This is probably what you experience?
So I stick to my earlier statement for the time being, but you were absolutely right about experiencing HDMI-CEC problems once more.
It also has an active HDMI-audio/video signal when in standby My AMP remains in HDMI-passthrough mode when put into standby as the consequence.
Saw an obscure parameter for that somewhere (Setup => Standby =HDMI suspend timer). Set it to 5 min (=minimum) but this does not help.
Removing the Q10 Pro power or disconnecting the HDMI cable makes my AMP going into full standby straightaway.
It would not be boring but extremely sad.

Still optimistic that this is not the case. They just did not implement it yet and by default it blocks communication, which is bad enough.
Also the active HDMI signal during standby needs to be fixed (not HDMI-CEC related).
