This is not working for me. I can only see probably the internal SD card drive (it's inaccessible..it says please insert a disc into Removable Disk).
I have attached 2TB HDD on USB 3.0 and 2GB Pendrive on USB 2.0. Unable to see both.
I have not installed internal HDD. So is this feature possible only if you have internal HDD?
What OS?

It definitely works. Make sure everything is connected before booting the PC/Mac.
windows 8.1. i tried hard reset and reinstalled firmware...both custom and official. the usb drive doesn't show up. even rebooted PC with all connected..but no luck. does anyone else see this one inaccessible drive?

Hello guys,

I have just received my new Q10 Pro today. I update the SW to 1.0.6 version and i have some questions for you.

1. I can't access Kody and Youtube. Is there a problem with these in 1.0.6?

2. I can't load external subtitles to ISO files. Is there a problem with that in Q10 Pro?

Thanks!

No, there should not be any problem getting to youtube or kodi.
Why not upgrade to version 1.0.7 which is the newest?

Can you post a photo of the Settings - About - Device Info screen so I can check that you don't have the Chinese hardware version? I know you didn't buy the box from us because we've been installing latest FW 1.0.7 for the past few weeks.

If you have the European version then you could try a fresh install of the latest 1.0.7 firmware. As here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1130.0

Try like this and when video is playing press 7(subtitle) to load/activate in case set it close in past.
ISO
-> INTERSTELLAR.iso
-> INTERSTELLAR.srt
-> INTERSTELLAR.en.srt

BDMV
-INTERSTELLAR (folder)
|
  -> BDMV (folder)
  -> INTERSTELLAR.srt
  -> INTERSTELLAR.en.srt

I did that. Now i have the new 1.0.7 version. Kodi and youtube are working just fine now. I still don't find a solution for loading external subtitles files on ISO files.

Futeko admin:

This question is not support related, but I'm curious to know if HiMedia develop all of their firmwares or if that task is performed by a third-party company working along with HiSilicon. I currently have an interesting discussion in another forum regarding this matter.

Thanks and excuse me for this little 'off-topic'.

As far as I know firmware development is done by HiMedia in-house.

Sometimes a bug/problem is chipset related so HiMedia then get HiSilicon involved for their people to help.

Another problem: if i watch some videos on youtube and i go back in media center to watch a movie, the 24Hz function doesn't work anymore. I got frames. The 24Hz function is on but not working. Works again if i make a factory reset. I'm disapointed of Q10 Pro. So much problems. :(
