When I do factory reset after installing FW1.06 some apps like Kodi, Wrapper etc. are uninstalled missing!!
So then I have to do the firmware ugrade again (via upgrade pin) method to get Kodi/ wrapper etc. back.
So how does one make factory reset without losing the firmware apps?
I don't mind losing the downloaded apps or data or settings.
Also, is there a way to close all apps running? How does one check recent apps and close them?
If you do a factory reset (Settings - More - Backup & reset) you will lose some apps. This is because these apps are installed on first boot after firmware is installed.
To properly reset the box do a firmware install using the upgrade button on the back. Download and instructions here: (Q5 Pro FW 1.0.6: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1046.0 Q10 Pro FW 1.0.6: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1045.0).
The brush icon at bottom left of homescreen closes all running apps. If you want to do this selectively install a third party task manager app. There are lots in Play Store (e.g. Advanced Task Manager, ES Task Manager)
Are these third party Task Manager apps (llike the ones you listed above) advised officially as safe to use? Don't know the exact reason why, but on a bigger local Android forum, they're often mentioned as useless and sometimes harmy apps, like in a witch hunt.

I have a trouble myself with Poweramp app, which won't close properly and keeps running in the background, which causes the media keys still occupied by and reacting to Poweramp, whichever app (like the Himedia Player) I open afterwards. And your advise regarding these Task Managers caught my attention, that it might be the solution. Will it be safe and advised to install and use e.g. Advanced Task Manager in my case (I only want to use to close the background service of Poweramp sometimes, nothing else)?!
Thanks for the reply!
