Q10 Pro v2.0.9 - Subtitle bug Still Exists!

Downloaded the update 2.0.9 2018-07-10.172915 from the official Website, no change control, so I have no idea what has been updated, but I can tell you the existing Subtitle bug still exists.

As someone else has already stated, when the lines overlap!

I am also stuck on version 2.0.6 due to this subtitle bug - I have reported directly  to Himedia, but no feedback/update from them.....

Nobody noticed version 2.0.9 released week ago ?

http://www.mediafire.com/file/la68tek0qb9l5rh/update.zip
(found on http://www.himediatech.com/support.htm)

Is this product still under Futeko consideration?

LOL! That was a good catch. I guess nobody is excited about new firmware versions anymore... I'm still with 2.0.6

Thank you for the confirmation.
I do not understand why they do not want to fix these little bugs.
Futeko needs to send them a new report of the small bugs, which have been around for a long time.

Neither do I, will try the direct email approach like others have done. But we just don't seem to be getting through to them.

I guess another question is, who writes the code for the wrapper? is it done by the chip manufacturer (Hisilicon)? and Himedia is not passing on the issues to them.

I do not understand why they do not want to fix these little bugs.

There is very simple explanation to this - no money for R&D.
They are chasing for another product and new money sources. Q10 Pro is not longer profitable for them. Every 3 months they will release new firmware with meaningless modifications - just to proof the engagement.

Faster we accept no real bug-fix firmware would appear, better for us (no more dissappointment).
My fear is Q10 Pro offers now the final version, nothing else (really meaningfull) would be done. Time to search for another product - HiMedia is on my black list now.

There are very little options of TV boxes with Android. We are still getting some updates. I think I am happy I am not plagued by most of the bugs you guys are reporting. This does not excuse HiMedia for not fixing them. I would not rule out HiMedia on my next box purchase. This one will serve for enough time, it still does its job now. Going the Nvidia way or the Xiaomi MiBox way is not something that I like. I may go with a TV box that is running Linux instead, as soon as I will replace my existing TV that is not receiving updates anymore (Netflix and HBO Go are missing some options that are quite important).

Maybe Futeko can ping them to fix these issues so most of the users would be happy. They can even prepare for a final firmware with all the fixes required by the users.

The main bug for me is the 3d iso not playing back at 23.976fps.
