Back in April the FAQ stated full 5.1/7.1 audio support for Kodi 17 without the use of Wrapper would be coming in a future firmware release. Does anyone have any idea when this may become a reality?

They must adjust the Android 7 version for this!

With version 71.5.1 of Kodi I get sound from all the movies I tested (2.0, 5.1, Dolby) with internal kodi player. I have a stereo setup so the sound is downmixed is some cases.

Good morning
Since I've still installed the firmware version 1.1 (Android 5.1), I would like to try upgrading to version 2.06 (Android 7.0).
If after I do not feel satisfied with the performance, can I still downgrade to Andorid 5.1?

Thank you

Yes. You would need to install the downgrade firmware: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1392.msg10920#msg10920

Is it possible to update Official FW 2.05 to the Custom FW 2.06 without having to do a clean install?
I accidentally used the OTA to update Custom FW 2.04 to the Official FW 2.05. Now i've lost some features from Custom FW, and I don't want to do a clean install again..

Good morning
I have 2 questions to ask:
1- My appliance does not detect firmware updates over OTA for a long time, this is because I'm stuck in version 1.1?
2- Why is it recommended to update with the reset procedure, via the back button and not conveniently via OTA?

Thanks for the answers

I think ( if I understand your statement) is that you are on Android 5 and firmware 1.x.
I was on similar and you have to go to via each firmware upgrade. I used the intermitten and then 2 firward upgrade to get to Android 7 and then all the versions from 2.0 through to 2.0.5.
Take your time and do that. Shortcuts may leads to bricking. It's worth it.
I then put on the prchisti custom firmware on final 2.0.5.

You can and should install 2.04 directly from 1.0x

Will there be a fix for the key reinstallation attack ("KRACK") any time soon? As you may know, using wifi on Android without it is about as safe as connecting to an unencrypted network.

Good evening
I wonder if the patch Samba is still valid, even with the latest firmware.

Thank you

If you are on 2.0.1 use the official FW to upgrade 2.0.6 (1 to 3 to 4 to 5 to 6). Do it step by step and dont skip, even if you think you can.
If bricked at 2.0.1, can you re-install that patch again. Futeko instructions are very easy to follow as long as you dont take shortcuts.

No need to root the box, unless you are doing something dodgy!
