The pre-installed Kodi supports 4K on H8.

MacMini has no 4K and Amazon cripple HD playback over HDMI because of HDCP... If Amazon worked in HD it would be the only thing to have.

Kodi streaming from PLEX server does not work in 4K, not a chance in hell.
Maybe on a local USB drive it might but this just isn't how a media server works.
