Kodi 17 player will not play 5.1 audio

My Q10 setup for the past 5 years had Leia and wrapper working perfect, played all audio and video.
System locked up on launcher_3d yesterday and had no choice but to reset.
It defaulted to Krypton with no wrapper or any other apps at all.  Kodi player is not putting out a 5.1 signal to my receiver now, only 2.0.   If I play a 5.1 file directly from the internal HDD video folder it opens a different player but 5.1 works fine.  Will reinstalling Leia  get me back wrapper
I have Android7. with HMD-2.1.4 2019-09-11
