The wrapper solution has one big advantage, it works for all features.

Boxes based on other chipsets do not have working 3D or 7.1 audio within Kodi for instance.

The ideal situation would obviously be perfect playback with all chipset features available from within native Kodi. However, there are no products that do this outside of much more expensive HTPCs. Himedia are aware of what people want and will do the best they can to implement it.

You are right and after testing some others, the best is the Himedia player. To be continu to update to have more and more options and right also to say that the wrapper give the Himedia the opportunity to have HD Audio DTS-Master and DTS-HD sounds with 3D playing as well, So not so many Boxes have this way, So happy for all users from this Himedia Boxes
