Configuration 4K Videos on HiMedia Q10Pro

Hi,

perhaps someone can tell me how to enjoy 4K Videos with Q10pro.

My Samsung TV can display the resolution of the input signal.
If I set in Android config on Q10Pro the display resolution to 4K, all videos (1080p and 4K) are sent to TV with 4K . I guess the 1080p videos will be up-scaled in Q10Pro. If i set the display resolution in Android config to 1080p, all videos will be sent with 1080p (also 4k videos).

I run the latest official Firmware 2.1.4 on Q10Pro ant use the wrapper.

Enable frame rate adaptation

I have the same problem, however I don't think the frame rate as mentioned will do this as I think this only changes frame rate eg. 24fps 50fps etc and not the resolution eg. 1080p 4K etc.

Hi, 

the patch worked for me.  (Kodi 19 (Matrix), Official 2.1.4 Firmware)
Now the sent video resolution doesn't depends anymore from Himedia display resolution.
I doesn't matter anymore if 1080p or 4K is configured.

4k videos are sent now with 4K resolution to my TV and 1080p videos with 1080p resolution.
