WiFi Set Up Question

Hi

The wife bought me a Q10 for Xmas  ;D

When I attempt to connect to WiFi it just says scanning. Have had no success at all so far. Is there a reason for this please?

is your router broadcasting its SSID okay . without this on the Q10 wont find the router. and is it reachable (within the routers range) you may need an extender if not..

It's a Virgin media SuperHub2 ac. Everything else finds it... iPhone, PS4, XBone etc and it's in the same room. It's just says scanning on the Q10... Maybe faulty perhaps?

Q10 wi-fi is 2.4G only, so make sure your Virgin hub is broadcasting on 2.4G and not 5G (it should be possible, and indeed preferred, to have it broadcast 2.4G and 5G simultaneously). This option will be in hub settings, accessed by typing http://192.168.0.1/ into any browser connected to the hub.

Thanks for the replies.

I have tried everything. Disabling the 5G on the modem and trying just the 2.4G and running them simultansously. It just says scanning on the Q10.

Have you tried connecting to the Q10 via an Ethernet cable instead of wifi, which is probably still the most reliable and preferred method for streaming to the Q10..
