Himedia Wrapper
« on: December 25, 2015, 04:23:32 AM »
Where can I download the latest Himedia wrapper, I've installed the latest firmware but I don't see the Himedia wrapper. There is a wrapper in the apps section which I installed but my video's aren't playing correctly as they did before I re-installed the firmware.
I need the Himedia wrapper for North America.

OK, I found the Himedia wrapper that Himedia sent me a couple months ago. But now I get a message on the screen before and after a movie that says "External player active" "click "OK" when playback has ended". Is there a fix for this?

Asked several times in several  orums and finally got answer from a KODI team member. And the answer is definite, big NO. The procedure is deliberately done that way. There is no fix for that horrendous, nagging message. But if you really want to remove the message you can downgrade to Kodi 14 which has a bug in that system so the message doesn't appear.

It's a Kodi 'feature'.

The idea is that by clicking to acknowledge that playback has ended you trigger the Kodi watched tag. So Kodi and some add-ons can update info to register that the item has been watched.
