Q5PRO streaming to external storage

Hi all!
Im using the latest custom firmware.
With every streaming app (like popcorn time), when its configured to cache on external storage it buffers for a few seconds, after that buffering/download stops. Its like it cant write to the external storage device. I tried all different USB mass storage devices, all with the same issue. This problem occurs with all streaming apps. Any ideas?
