Zidoo player are usually root with OneKeyRoot.apk release by Zidoo, but are not yet OneKeyRoot.apk compatible with RTD1296 Android 7.1.1 firmware.
As alternative can get root via adb shell.

Download, unpack, run ROOT_via_LAN.bat, input ip of player when ask and wait for box reboot.
Test with Zidoo Z9s v1.7.8/v1.8.1/v1.9.7
