Problems with 1080 streams stuttering

I just updated my box with the latest firmware To get the new android up.
All works well, expect streaming 1080 streams in kodi.
It used to work flawlessly. Anyone know what settings I need to use to fix this problem?

These players are meant to be used for playback with the stock HiMedia Player app. Playback with KODI isn't and will be never perfect.  Use the Wrapper to keep KODI as media browser and playback with the stock app.

Himedia player doesn't work with streaming

Depends what he meant by "steaming". Streaming from the LAN is also streaming. But i get now...

For fixing online streams: read the FAQ Thread, you need to turn off some hardware acceleration in KODI.

You need to turn OFF only the Mediacodec (Surface) acceleration. If it still wont work, you could also try the following KODI forks:  "Shitty Build", Official 16.1,  SMPC, FMTC.

What kind of streaming add-on are you using? The last time I tried it and worked, was on OFW 1.0.9/KODI 16.1 and with the Simple IPTV add-on.
