60 Hz or 24Hz for Resolution Setting
« on: October 16, 2018, 12:54:41 PM »
My TV and HDMI cables support the 2160/60 setting.  Should I have my HiMedia box set to this resolution, or is it recommended to use 2160/24 or some other resolution setting?  Advantages and disadvantages that would affect viewing?

Set the GUI of HiMedia to 60Hz and turn ON the 24Hz mode in Settings->Playback. It will switch automatically during playback (except for 25fps->50Hz and 29.976fps->59.94Hz interlaced videos, thus (but only for these) you need first turn OFF 24Hz Mode and set manually 50 or 60Hz).
