Issue with roll back firmware
« on: September 06, 2018, 07:28:23 AM »
Hi , there I'm Jeremy.
wondering how to roll back firmware.

I have tried the method in the 2.0.6 firmware page. I get the circle to show up on the screen but then about 1/3 of the way through I get a error and it just boots to the normal 2.0.8 front interface.

Hopefully I don't need to roll back to 5.1, then to 7.0, then to 2.0.6, but if so i'll do that.

Rolling back to try get 4k stuff to play smoothly over NFS. works with files up to 75mbps, but 85mps stutters badly.

Thank in advance.

It should be possible to install 2.0.6 directly over 2.0.8. Are you sure the USB stick is prepared correctly? FAT32, <8GB (preferably), update.zip copied and not extracted.
