you could use a hdmi splitter, sending one way to tv and another to audio system [but the tv will no longer send audio via ARC to player, if you're using this configuration]
it's not neccesary to be a dual hdmi 2.0 splitter, it's enough to have one hdmi 2.0 and one hdmi 1.4 [for audio]

Hello...could you please elaborate on that matter as HDMI  spliting is new to me.. Where do I have to connect toHDMI splitter..In the dVD player?
So one is input from the Himedia and the  other output to the TV..May I know ,What is the expected audio and video quality for such arrangement?
what u have is a HTIB - home theater in a box.
the "amp" is in the DVD player; only hdmi output, no hdmi input.

for audio the best u can do is, as already said, use the red/white rca inputs (q10pro output connect here).
u get just 2.0 whatever u play.

HTIB is cheap compared to component systems, has proprietory connections, cannot easily dismantle components to match other components.

So there is not much hope converting this old  home theater system to be the sound  box of the q10 pro....?

Not an offense, but are you doing this uncomprehending for purpose? We wrote 100 times that you can do it with the RCA connectors and with the RCA connectors only.

I followed the suggestion but it does not work with my system.

According to the device manual it should work. Have you checked both the settings in your DVD system to enable it and both what I've wrote about the HiMedia settings? What kind of RCA cables are you using?

nothing great n nothing more u can do/get.

becos yr htib is a low end inversatile system - good for your old dvd's only.

q10pro can deliver superb audio  with high grade files + a much better home theater system.

I think I can't find any h ope in connecting the Q10 with the DVD home theater system... Have find a really good reasonably priced system to fit this HImedia product...
I  appreciate guys your  time and effort regarding this matter.....
