Do you know that you can change HDR saturation in HiMedia Imprex Engine, when movie is running?

I have a Samsung tv and there is a setting in the setup menus to enable HDR on each individual HDMI input.Have you turned it on?

there is still no solution hdr looks a lot worse than sdr it is just washed out dim a lot less bright and it lacks contrast every setting of mine is correct 4.2.0 10 bit selected UHD is selected on from TV cable is hdmi 2.0 full bandwith.Should factory reset should be an option What was your experience with hdr guys was it darker and dimmer it was definitely unbearably bad for me tried all remuxes 4k 40 bit hdr torrents but no good. Waiting for some advices also got the same picture quality with samsung's internal player.

If the Samsung player also had the issue then it is a TV issue not the device.

HDR movies look incredible on my LG OLED.  However my Samsung in my bedroom which claims to be HDR as well, really only accepts the HDR signal but doesn't actually decode it. So it looks washed out from all sources including Netflix or USB plugged directly into the TV, or from the Q10.  I would try maybe looking on a message board for that TV specifically and see if others have issues with HDR signals.

Just set your TV's correctly for HDR and UHD deep color and plug in the right HDMI slot, etc...

What brightness setting do you have you set for SDR, and for HDR?

What brightness setting do you have you set for SDR, and for HDR?

it is the same for both backlight at 20 and brightness at 0 ? have seen people with sony x900e or x900f also reported the same issue on another forums it is a lot more common with samsungs though, samsung tv's hdr implementation is worst for their tvs and also imprex engine doesnt affect picture when hdr movie is playing hdr saturation picture mode have no effect on picture despite changing it to max ?m open to suggestions but everything is set correctly.
