There will be a new Q5/Q10 Pro firmware next week (30/10 - 3/11) incorporating this patch.

HiMedia say it will be mainly just incorporating the patch, nothing else major.

i just upgraded to FW2.0.6 this Weekend. Blu-Ray Playback mode is set to "Display BD Menue" in Kodi. But still the main movie starts immideately when i hit "Play". No Menue displayed. Tried on several BD and UHD Iso and BDMV files.

Is there any other Setting i need to configure to get to the BD/UHD Menue??

It works fine on both .iso and BDMV folders for myself.  Menus come up nicely (and you get a choice of "Full Menu" or Lite Menu").
I had the Patch installed when upgrading to 2.0.5 so I'd suggest installing the .apk file from this thread.

I will wait untill the Patch has left the Beta-Status. Can you foresee, when this will be the case?

...And btw: Is this patch compatible with FW2.0.6? From the initial posts it looks as if it was developed for 2.0.5.

Who should contact if there are problems with the 4K menu.
With 2 of 10 of my UHD's the menu does not work. These UHD's have been tested and operate with menu at PowerDVD. Even on a stand alone player they run without problems.
So that's a himedia problem

Should I contact Himedia directly, or do you do that?

I had a couple UHD iso menu not work as well, I just put it down to it still been in beta.

We could start a thread with iso/bdmv that the menu doesn't work.

The download below adds BD-ISO menu support to Himediaplayer for firmware 2.0.5.

When installed a new option will appear in Himediaplayer menu giving access to BD-ISO full menus.

This patch is an official BETA from HiMedia. All feedback is appreciated.

1. Install BlurayPatch app by opening OpenBlurayMode.apk from Q5/Q10 Pro FileManager or any other file manager app.
2. Run the installed BlurayPatch app (My Apps - BlurayPatch) and press OK to toggle 'Open Bluray'.

Is this patch work on playing UHD BD/BD/DVD Folder?

How can I select external SRT subtitle on playing UHD BD/BD/DVD Folders?

One more question, I found on a German website they offer item similar to Q10 Pro but quoted it supports 10TB HDD. Is this also apply to Q10 Pro, Is anyone ever try?
