Q10 pro Android 5.1 version 1.0.9 to Android 7

I've been having issues with my q10 as it freezes when using an app. This occured only recently and hasn't happened before. Only once I installed another app on the device did it begin to occur.

In order to fix this I wanted to try and update the firmware. I tried to use HMD-2.0.1 2017-01-10.164949 to update from 1.0.9 to 2.0.1 however I received an error! android logo. Anyway I can fix this issue?

edit: It now shows no error but after the initial green android icon it boots to the HiMedia screen then boots properly. No progress bar.

I advise trying to update using the new single file Android 5.1 > Android 7 v2.0.4 update files.

They are uploading now, ready in a couple of hours time.

I had several crashes on the latter firmwares, including kodi and thridparty Android apps. the most stable as of now and i havent slept in a while is 2.0.4
ive gotten everything up and running. and kodi is stable in several configurations, including 1080 / 4K, Atmos and 7.1 / 9.2.4 configs.
The machine is much faster then anything else ive tried. But when it comes to stability i have my concerns regrettably enough.

But to get everything up and running it takes time and effort and alot of tweaking. Nothing that you as a user should have to do.

Ive hooked up several boxes in the past but nothing as exhausting as this. And i think most of Android machines are the exactly the same. so it does not help change out the setups or brands.

Kodi feels as its not finished, but way much better then himedias own mediacenter which to me is a joke!, and yeah ive told them that yesterday!
