Passthrough with no Wrapper

Hi, all

Tired old subject but when can we expect an update for this bothersome issue? It's been bugging me since i bought the bloody things. All I want is to use Kodi's interface (unless they improve the wrapper... doesn't even mark episodes as watched) and to listen to HD audio in all its glory

Kodi HD Audio passthrough should be coming in the next release. If you need it asap you can give a try to this Kodi fork:

Mine only marks the first played episode as watched. When it carries onto the next episode(s) it doesn't mark them as watched. Using SMB (I think).

Yes, but that's just a promise and HiMedia not always fulfill those.

No, the situation is the same as 2.0.3.

Kodi+wrapper gives full HD-Audio for local media.

Standard Android Kodi gives 2 channel PCM only in internal player.

Kodi 'shitty' build or SPMC gives 5.1 channel passthrough in internal player.
