HiMedia Q5 Pro Night Mode feature?
« on: May 14, 2017, 05:07:39 PM »
After much searching I am reaching out to the experts on this board for guidance.   Where can I find a Night Mode feature for  audio dynamic range compression?  If this option exists we need it to keep loud scenes more quiet.
Thanks,
Brad

There's no such an option in the Himedia settings and with Himedia Player at all. (Tho' I would have found very practical as well along with many other users here i guess...).

There's a similar option in KODI Audio Settings called Normalize levels on downmix, and the ones mentioned in this link can also be helpful:  https://www.reddit.com/r/kodi/comments/421gf7/how_to_normalize_audio_in_kodi/-> They're also have effect on DRC. These of course only will work if you playback with KODI Player.
