Today i changed from q10 pro to egreat a5. My opinion is that the Egreat A5 is the best 4k player of 2017. Very stable firmware en terrific picture quality. I regret that i did not change earlier. Compare to this player is the Q10 pro a buggy, unstable player. Also egreat communicated much better then Himedia about firmware updates.

The only thing is that the egreat player also has the hdr aspect ratio problem. But i have much more trust in egreat about this then himedia.

i got my q10pro today. And i am quite surprised. whatever i do, i cannot make it removing the black bars on 21:9 movies to full screen. Do you know if this can be done by a certain setting? And how about the egreat? Is that possible on this one?

would be great if you can help...

Yes it is possible on Egreat.

With Q10 Pro, the firmware next week may add this (I have no beta and the changelog is unclear). Another way is to use another player like MXPlayer. See Q5/10 Pro forums for a thread about it.
