There aren't any HiMedia specific or HiMedia authorised repair shops in Australia.

It will depend on the damage whether a local electronics repair shop will be able to fix it. If the HDMI socket just need re-soldering then it's a relatively easy job and any shop advertising as being able to fix cable boxes / Playstations should be able to do it.

The HDMI port is soldered directly to the PCB.

If the PCB is undamaged then soldering it back on (or soldering a replacement - it is a standard part) will be relatively straightforward.

If the PCB is damaged then it will require a new PCB, which is similar to a whole new Q10 Pro. All components are on the one PCB..

I actually think you'll be lucky and the PCB will not be damaged. It would take a heavy and specific impact (pushing into the Q10 Pro) to damage the PCB.

You could take the Q10 Pro to pieces yourself and establish the extent of the damage, or any electronics repair shop will be able to do it quickly and easily. Disassembly instructions are here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1622.msg14469#msg14469
