Try booting it with the restore button pressed at the back (no USB devices attached). What happens?

What firmware were you running?

This has happened to me 3 times in the last 2 days. It just stays stuck saying "boot" on the front screen. After unplugging it and plugging it back in it booted up fine. It's just strange that this started happening all of a sudden after months of no issues. At first I thought it was a handshake issue between the Q10 Pro and my TV but sometimes it boots fine so I'm not sure.

I'm running Android 5.1 and just upgraded to firmware 1.10 (from 1.09 using the complete reset method) and Kodi 17.1 I also have an issue where the network connection doesn't register sometimes. I'm using 5G WiFi (ASUS AC1900 one room over)  but it's like it just keeps trying to reconnect with no success. I have to reboot the device then it works fine. I'm thinking of trying to just reflash and go to Android 7 but I'm afraid things will get worse haha.

Running android 5.1 and firmware 1.0.9 for the moment. never had problem before. I now unplugged and plug in again, everything works fine now.
I wait for the firmware 1.1.0 from Himedia

I know from previous posts that you bought your Q10 Pro from a Chinese website.

What sort of PSU did they send you? Regular random not booting sounds like a power problem.

Hi. I purchased mine from Amazon. I hope it's not a Chinese version haha! Everything is in English and I've been using the European firmware.

For now I'm just going to go back to 1.09 and Kodi 16.1  That seemed to work great for me. All of the new versions are having too many issues. Remote key mapping issues, stuck on boot screen, streaming movies not playing correctly, having to keep switching between wrapper/internal DVD player, system lockups, etc.

The only reason I upgraded is because a Kodi message popped up saying upgrading to version 17 is a must as 16.1 doesn't support https protocol, which most streaming sites use.  Hopefully a stable firmware/Kodi 17/Android 7 combo will release soon.

It's the PSU I'd be looking at, not the box itself. Other resellers (not us) might ship with different PSUs.

Also, if you have a lot of stuff plugged into the USB ports it might cause similar affects to those described. The solution would be a higher amperage PSU.
