audio settings of HDMI
« on: May 31, 2015, 03:40:42 PM »
Hi,

what are the proper settings of HDMI output to hear multichannel PCM on my receiver?

I've tried to set "HDMI Output = LPCM", but seems it is related of the value of "HBR Output" because:

1) if I set "HBR Output = RAW7.1" the receiver says - DTS-HD MSTR [5/2.1 (Lw/Rw)]

2) if I set "HBR Output = RAW5.1" the receiver says - DTS [3/2.1] (I suppose bitstreaming compatible DTS Core because the testing movie is DTS-HD MA 7.1

3) if I set "HBR Output = Auto" the receiver says "PCM" which means stereo

?nd of course the confusion of this: first set HBR Output and then set "HDMI Output" which grays and lock "HBR Output" like that two options unrelated.

Regards
